Beer Social Club - Pumpkin Show
This years Pumpkin Show, held on Saturday 27th September 2008 was a rip-roaring success.
Auctioneer Kim Aplin was at his loquacious peak encouraging all and sundry to part with their money. Well over £700 was gathered in, but with an exceptionally high turnout of Children's decorated pumpkins, each of which is awarded a prize, plus other expenses, the amount available to Beer charities is expected to be around £500.
Many thanks to all who helped put on this yearly extravaganza.
Next years Pumpkin Show will be held on Saturday 26th September 2009.
