Sad news of the closure of AXE VALE CLUB effective from Sunday 18th.May. The Axe Vale Teams will remain in the league and play at Cloakham Lawns.
Beer Club teams fixtures for 2013
Axe Vale teams - A on downstairs alley, Terriers and Ex.Cons on upstairs alley.
Thorncombe B on Alley 1, Thorncombe A on Alley 2
The Latecomers play at the Axminster Conservative Club.
There are a few changes for 2013 and they are as follows:-
1) Note that the first round of the cup has been determined by what would have been the league Byes. This has the advantage of avoiding the teams having a bye (with the exception of two who now have first round cup byes) and saving the necessity of the semi finals being played on a Saturday Night.
2) Axe Vale "Z" have reformed as Axminster Carpets Shagpile and will be playing at the Carpets Club Alley.
3) We welcome a new team from Cloakham Lawns Sports Centre in Axminster under the captancy of Simon Flint.
Cancellations to be advised to the secretary at the earliest opportunity. Captains will be responsible for re-arrangements of cancelled fixtures.
